The Promotional Products Education Foundation (PPEF) provides a variety of scholarships to support students and employees in the promotional products industry. Whether you're a high school senior, a current college student, or an industry professional looking to further your education, there are opportunities to help you achieve your academic goals.
NWPMA Success Scholarship
NWPMA provides its own Success Scholarship each year. This scholarship is available to full-time promotional products industry employees or their dependent children. To qualify for the Success Scholarship, the employee or parent/guardian of the applicant must have an active membership with NWPMA at the time of application. These scholarships are awarded to outstanding students who meet all requirements for the One-Year Scholarships. Please complete the application for the Four-Year Scholarships (high school seniors) or One-Year Scholarships (current college students) to be considered for the NWPMA Success Scholarship. Four-Year College Scholarship
Available to high school seniors. This scholarship offers a need-based award of $9,000, distributed annually at $2,250, and a merit-based award of $5,000, distributed annually at $1,250. Online Application
One-Year College Scholarship
For current college students or trade school applicants. This scholarship includes need-based awards of $2,250 and merit-based awards of $1,250, helping students continue their educational journey. Online Application
Chairman’s Scholarship
Available for students entering their junior year of college who are pursuing a degree related to the promotional products industry. It awards $5,500, distributed annually at $2,750. This scholarship is renewable for the senior year, provided the student maintains a qualifying GPA and has a connection to the industry through their own employment or that of a parent. Adult Learner Scholarship
For full-time promotional products industry employees who have been out of school for more than five years and are entering their first year of college or trade school. This scholarship offers a $1,250 merit-based award. Children of industry employees are not eligible for this particular scholarship, which is awarded based on an essay, resume, and letter of recommendation. Online Application
Scholarships are awarded through a competitive application process, with recipients announced in June. Applications for the 2025-2026 school year will open on September 1, 2024, and the deadline to apply is March 15, 2025. For more information or to make a donation, please visit the PPEF website.
Congratulations to our 2023-24 Success Scholarship Recipient, Evan Economou!
Evan is the son of Tom Economou from Halo Branded Solutions. Beginning this Fall 2023, Evan will continue on to his second year at the Colorado School of the Mines, working towards a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. He looks forward to being a Computer Science tutor this fall and continuing to challenge himself to grow in the Computer Science field.
About the Promotional Products Education Foundation (PPEF)
PPEF is an educational, charitable, nonprofit organization that awards college scholarships to students who have a parent working in the promotional products industry or who are working for a company in the industry. In 2024 PPEF celebrated 35 years of awarding college scholarships, and the total amount awarded reached $3,668,000
In 2024, $321,500 was awarded in college scholarships. 32 recipients received renewal payments on scholarships awarded in previous years. 138 new scholarships were awarded: 10 Four-Year College Scholarships, 2 Chairman's Scholarships, and 126 One-Year College Scholarships, including the Named Scholarships such as the NWPMA Success Scholarship.
